About

Hello, my name is Paul Malenfant and I am a wildlife enthusiast. After a 40-year career in the lighting business, I now enjoy spending my retirement in the great outdoors, photographing animals and birds in their natural habitat. To me, there is nothing more exciting than watching a fox catch a vole below 2-feet of snow or staring into the eyes of a moose as he wonders who you are.

I've had amazing experiences in Yellowstone, Florida Everglades, Northern Maine Woods, Costa Rica, Alaska and more that have given me lasting memories. These are the experiences that keep bringing me back and inspire me to push my boundaries.

All of my photographs are taken in a natural environment with no enclosures and I have the utmost respect for the animal.

I would like to thank my wife, Nancy, for her continued support in my love of the outdoors; spending much time away from home along with long detours to check out another possible photo opportunity. Also my daughter, Jillian and son, Zack for their computer support and wisdom in creating this website.
